NEW-LOOK ALEENTA PHUKET LAUNCHES 'THE SATURDAY SESSIONS': LUXX BEACH CLUBBING FOR GROWN-UPS THAT'S COOL FOR KIDS

PHUKET, THAILAND – Aleenta Phuket in Phang Nga has unveiled the chilled new Saturday hot spot for cool couples and groovy families who play together and stay together with a concept simply called 'The Saturday Sessions'.

The move comes on the heels of a more than USD3.5 million renovation project which saw the award-winning resort add a spectacular beachfront infinity pool, a new version of The Edge gourmet restaurant and an expansive poolside lounging area perched atop stunning Natai Beach, the 'Hamptons' of Phuket.

The luxx-lounging concept is the latest innovation by the pioneering resort group who also recently opened the Ayurah Wellness Centre where guests are treated a 'wellness that works' philosophy through the exclusive treatments of Linda Meredith which focuses on natural health and beauty.

"The Saturday Sessions are very much about reclining, dining, unwinding and it's aimed at couples, couples with kids, big kids at heart and anyone with a taste for the luxury beach club life, a tasty tune and a nicely chilled Rose," said AHMS – The Collection managing director and owner of Aleenta Phuket, Anchalika Kijkanakorn.

"It's a new idea, but I believe there are other people like me, with young kids they adore but with the urge to let their hair down and have some fun, knowing the kids are nearby and cared for in an atmosphere of fun and learning. That's the advantage our new Children's Club brings to the table … and Saturdays are about to get a whole lot hotter, and several degrees cooler, at Aleenta Phuket."

The award-winning culinary team behind The Edge will be serving up the very best of beach lounge cuisine, including 'Pieces of Eight' Asian Tapas selections from THB980, eight delicious original and Asian fusion Tapas creations, which are perfect for amazing daytime grazing.

Main courses spanning the freshest seafood, roasts, pasta and funked up noodle dishes will be a tick of a box or a flick of an iPad away, along with tempting dessert creations and free flow cocktails from THB499. There's also complimentary sodas for children aged up to six, and half price beverages for kids aged seven to 12.

Ms Kijkanakorn said there would be some fun filled beach activities in addition to the cool tunes and serious lounging on the pool deck, from beach 'putt putt' mini golf to a floating slide and floating beach ball cages to put some bounce back into Saturdays.

"This is beach clubbing for the grown-up, who knows how to have a good time, but has moved along in life a bit. We're not bling bling and bad behaviour. It's a kinder, gentler style of clubbing, or lounging.

"Join me at the Saturday Sessions from Nov 01 and Saturdays thereafter, starting at 2pm." Ms Kijkanakorn said.

Spent an incredible week at this magnificent resort earlier this month. What an amazing place to get away from it all. The villas are incredibly designed with comfort & spaciousness being the top priority. The hospitality by the entire team from the Resort Manager Matthias & Executive Chef Valero right on down to every staff member exceeded my expectations in every way. Thanks for taking such great care of us. I will definitely be back.

This was my first trip to Thailand and I was worried in case I had missed the boat on the Thailand of old. I should not have worried. This small, intimate and friendly five star resort is the most perfect position on a spectacular stretch of beach at Pak Nampran Bay. The emphasis on sustainability and doing things in a green and eco fashion makes you feel like you are also doing your bit. As a passionate foodie, I loved the fact that the menu is created from produce organically grown at the eco farm a few kilometres away. The menu tells you how far each dish has travelled to reach your table. One of my favorite moments was waking up to watch the sunrise from the comfort of my huge squishy bed, which overlooked the beach. Each afternoon, someone delivers a beautiful tray of fresh canapes to your room. You can even choose what time you would like to enjoy happy hour! It's rare to find a high end hotel with such a down to earth, friendly vibe and most importantly of all, a very clear and passionate social conscience. Please keep on doing what you are doing, please don't change. I'll be back and thank you for an unforgettable stay.

My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon on your premises from December 5 to December 12, 2016. Our stay at Aleenta was absolutely fantastic and felt way too short! We enjoyed your kind hospitality, the extraordinary food, the facilities, the massages and the view we had from our room to the fullest. My husband and I are experienced travellers but we have hardly come across such friendliness, kindness and willingness as from you to make our holidays so special and unique. We will surely come back and already miss you a lot. Thank you so very much again!
