Lucas, Lisa, Johanna & Toby,
Thankyou very much for making the effort to create one of the best resorts we have been to. The atmosphere and settings have simply been breathtaking.
Once again, thanks for helping to create one of the most memorable trips ever.
Thankyou,

We just wanted to drop you a line saying how much we enjoyed our vacation at Aleenta. The service was extremely helpful and friendly, the location on the beach is heavenly, the food excellent, the villa is bright, comfortable, spacious, and cheerful with a beautiful view. We had a great time!!
Thanks for donating it to Smile Train.

I'd like to congratulate you on running such a fine property. My husband and I, along with our 14 month old twin boys, spent 5 nights at your lovely resort last week and we thorougly enjoyed every moment of it. All the staff were extremely kind and caring to the boys, who got spoilt rotten!
We were especially pleased to see the quality of food that was being provided for the boys - freshly steamed vegetables and a whole variety of other foods to cater to their needs. The kitchen team couldn't have been better. Likewise, my husband and I were impressed by Chef Jean's creations. Likewise, Anna ensured that the boys were kept entertained for an entire afternoon so that my husband and I could enjoy some spa treatments.
Special thanks go to practically everyone, but in particular I'd like to thank Khun Porn (Restaurant), Anna & team (Spa), Chef Jean and his kitchen team and Ileen for everything.
We will definitely be returning when time permits.

We really appreciate your offer to upgrade us, we had the best time.
The food was amazing, and I will make sure our Centurion Amex travel agent recommends your property.

The Chinese word for "Dream" is what most explicitly describes our experience at Aleenta. It is really like a dream come true - an unforgettable dream. Aleenta not only rejuvenates the body but the soul as well. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Aleenta for this once-in-a-lifetime experience - an experience that we have waited all our life for... |

I would like to tell you it was a great pleasure to stay in your hotel, and it is for me one of the best hotel I ever seen, best in the way of philosophy, and also architecture, art of living, decoration... |

We are writing specially to thank you and the Aleenta team making our stay very special. We spent 3 nights in the resort. We really enjoyed out time / you have made our stay very comfortable and relaxing? We received excellent and friendly services from your team.
We love the quietness around the resort, warm smiles from every one of your staff, excellent food with different themes for every night, plus very personal service.
Our room is very cosy and very nicely and comfortably decorated? The candle lit dinner on the beach was very memorable and enjoyable. We loved so much talking a walk on the beach and enjoyed the tranquility of the ocean. The above makes it a nice and big difference than staying in big hotel chains. We are sure that we will come back hopefully next year to spend more time in the resort. We will also recommend our friends to come to Aleenta for a relaxing gateway. Once again, thank you for your excellent service.

My wife and I stayed at Aleenta, Pranburi in the Frangipani wing for 6 nights at the end of July as part of our honeymoon.. we had such a wonderful and memorable stay that I feel compelled to write to you and thank you all. We thought the service was great at the Peninsula in Bangkok until we arrived at Aleenta... From the moment we stepped out of the car on arrival we entered another world, the greeting was warm and friendly, and you immediately felt everything was taken care of. First impressions count and this set the tone for the week - absolutely perfect!
Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, the setting and ambience was lovely and there were some very nice little touches. Each day of our stay continued to exceed expectations. The food was delicious, the massages were bliss and the variety of activities available meant you could do as little or as much as you liked and the front desk were super efficient in arranging what you wanted.
All the staff worked tirelessly to ensure that anything was possible, nothing was ever p problem, and It all seemed so effortless (even though it surely couldn't have been!) It was just a shame that our stay had to end, but if we do return to Thailand it would find it hard to book somewhere else other than Aleenta, as Aleenta has raised the benchmark so high. Our rule of never going back to the same place, may have to be re-written!

My partner and I stayed at your tranquil little resort a couple of weeks ago and we loved it so much that I am inspired to write and personally thank you for our memorable stay. I also work in the hotel industry but the level of service and friendiness which was extended at your establishment awed me profoundly.
We wanted a quiet time to just eat, drink and sleep whilst enjoying the calming view of the ocean, sand and sun to take us away from our overwhelmingly hectic lives. The Sky Spa was an absolute heaven! Very personal and, yet very involved with the entirety of the whole scene. Your staff were sweet, courteous and friendly. They took great care in ensuring a personal service whenever we had specific needs. Needless to say your small touches around the resort throughout the day were also nicely tailored.
My most sincere thank you for that memorable weekend. We certainly will return to Aleenta should we decide to head to Pranburi again. Warmest regards,
|

Even though we filled out a comment card at the resort upon departure, we really wanted to write to you and express our experiences at your resort in HuaHin.
We just came back from staying at the Frangipani Wing. We were on our honeymoon for the past 12 days and your resort was the highlight of our memorable period. We stayed at the four seasons in Chiang Mai and Trisara down south, as this was our first time to Thailand.
We came with very high expectations, especially after staying at the two most reputable properties in Thailand, They have all been exceeded, in service, quality of food and especially the attention to detail. Your staffs are genuinely nice, sometimes with limited English; however there was a sense of simplicity, which in the other resorts came forth as overkill. Too much! They tended to our every need and continuously surprised us with unexpected touches of water by the pool, tropical fruit skewers, canapes, drinks of the day, flexibility of having things off the menu and much much more. They went to the market to buy for us our favorite fruits and delivered them in a traditional woven basket... the small touches which remain in the memory. Your resort was full and we found that the staff handled it well and we never felt hurried or a burden. This was how we felt at the four seasons, as though, we are not the only ones. Thank you all for making this leg of the honeymoon one to remember, to ponder and reflect... we will tell all our friends and come back again.

I would be grateful to share my experience with you in your resort in Hua Hin. We came back from a long stay of 12 nights at both of the resorts, Frangipani Wing and Aleenta.
Your team and manager deserve a special mention as they have outdone themselves in service, food and making this vacation the highlight of our vacation. Prior to coming to Aleenta we stayed at the Four Seasons in Bali and Senuva Fushi in the Maldives. Your resorts are, for what Thailand has to offer, exceptional. For a relatively new and young resort your ability to offer comparable and better services than the palces we have stayed at, is worth me writng to you and telling our friends and family about.
We enjoyed the details and touches on a daily basis. Never experienced so many things for free (I must confess) it gives a sense that your manager cares and provides value and that is worth a lot. Everywhere else you have to pay and pay for everything, but the thoughtfulness of water and fruit by the pool or on the beach, fruit drink of the day, canapes in the evening and special drinks of Taps and Thai nights make you not want to go elsewhere. you have achieved a concept unique and far beyond what I have experienced in luxury retreats elsewhere and that's great. Thank you for everything and we will be back, possibly in your new property in Phuket for a taste of added luxury with value for money!

We were impressed by the little "touches" which made the resort stand out from other luxury hotels we have stayed at, for instance the fresh flowers in our room, the canapes circulated each afternoon to advertise the evening's dining theme and the artwork displayed around the resort. The arrangements regarding our transfers to and from Bangkok were wonderfully efficient, as were our couple of trips away from the resort. We especially wish to pass on our thanks to the Resident Manager, who made our stay quite special. On a number of occasions, our casual and passing comments were noted and without intrusion, given thoughtful attention. My wife had mentioned that we'd considered booking the Penthouse suite rather than a beach villa. The following day we received an offer move suite. Whilst we remained in Ylang Ylang, we were touched by the kind invitation. Our reference to a possible excursion was met with a discreet enquiry from the Front Office staff the following morning.
We'll finish by adding that we had a wonderful time at Aleenta and should we be travelling in that part of the world in the future we'll attempt to take out time to stay with your team in Pranburi.

Aleenta is a true gem for the fact that it is small, located in a prestine beach area with magnificent views on the Gulf, a room product that's well appointed and personal, yes, a little small, but the attention to detail is evident throughout the rooms. Fresh flowers, ipods, reading books, and many many more things that make the difference have been a refreshing touch.
The food is exceptional. The opportunity to eat at both frangipani and Aleenta is a great variety and the cooking class the Jenny my wife did, was worth the market trip in the morning.
Yes, English is not very good (barring in mind that we are in the country side), but the candor, friendliness of the staff, always ready to help is what makes you look at the experience in a different way. The service was better than I had in luxury hotels in Europe and the US as well as Australia and training is evident throughout especially at turndown and when coming to check in the room, dinner and beach service. Every time we sat at the pool they came with a glass of cold water and fruit skewers and attentive to all my requests.
But aside from all of the above, the manager was gracious and a true host, and run the resort impeccably. What makes a difference when staying at the resort is the true recognition we get every day for ten days with a surprise awaiting to break the routine.
So, if you are looking to escape to a part of Thailand that's not discovered (take a bike to the country side and stranded beaches), looking for relaxing, calming experience with great food and friendly staff... go and try it out, you will be paying far less than at many European luxury resorts and get better value for the Euro you spend.

We came not knowing what to expect and we were overwhelmingly surprised with the resort, food and service. For a small resort in an obscure location you found the right formula for making us not want to leave and long to come back.

We traveled all the way from Canada with our family and friends to > celebrate our wedding at Aleenta. It was more than we hoped for; the food, the services and the staff were just wonderful placing tears in my eyes. Thank you for making this special event even more special for us, we will never forget this experience.

We just stayed at the Evason resort down the road, gosh, are we happy we moved here, this place is small, intimate, amazing service and the staffs are just great. The food is just spectacular and Chef Rose makes it look so easy at her cooking class with a warm smile and an extra touch of Thai grace. Erica

We just came back from a great escape in Thailand and experience it was. We stayed at the small and intimate Aleenta resort and we were blown away. The service was the best I have experienced in a long time and I have stayed at the Amanpuri in Phuket and Four Seasons in Chiang Mai, Attentive, luxurious, detailed and a feel of home made us want more and more.
The resident manager there who recently came has a lot of international experience and has managed to capture many small unique things that you do not get in other hotels. I'll give you an example: every day at 6 pm we received a small something from the Chef to bite on, kind of like to open the appetite... that's great, we got personalised cards HAND WRITTEN... if you are looking to get away from Bangkok (yack) and enjoy the fresh air and relax, have excepional food and a real good atmosphere, head down there, they will welcome you very warmely and take great care of your needs... all the friends we met there, and they are always full, said they have never had such a great experience.
I highly recommend! Enjoy! |

We stayed at Aleenta May 2005 for 5 days and would highly recommend the property. It was a great experience from start to finish. Emails were replied to prompty and the staff at Aleenta were helpful and first rate. We stayed in a Pool Villa beachfront and loved the fact you could fling open the doors for indoor outdoor flow. No TV, Perfect, let's listen to some music provided by Aleenta. We watched a buddist wedding on the beach, feb. Had lunch in front of our villa, set up under an awning right on the beach, a candlelit dinner served beside our little private pool. Tapas on our last night for dinner on the beach by lamp and candlelight. We booked a package via the website and it was good value for money. The rooms were exactly as advertised, the property beautiful, We enjoyed the green lights of the squid boats at night on the horizon and watching the local Thai dig for clams on the beach. This is life. The restaurant was very good with a different menu every night. Good massage at the spa. We hope to return again next year. |

This is our second time to Aleenta and it was as great as we remembered it to be. The sound of the waves, the wonderful moonlight nights and the fantastic sea breeze made it all possible.
- Easter Sunday 05
Quaint resort, tucked away, it is definitely a place to unwind and chill out. As I write I sitting at my doorway with a strong sea breeze blowing my hair into a great mess with Aleenta CD in the background. The luxury of time drawing to its end, I choose to immerse myself in the smell of the sea and apperciate the art of simple and chick dinning.

Two days living in a fairyable that is how it felt being here! Everybody is so friendly and always smiling. We don't want to leave and on thing if for sure we'll definitely be back. The girls at the Sky Spa treated us really good.

It seems a long time since my wife and I enjoyed our 3 nights at your lovely Aleenta Resort... It is in fact only a little over one week! We were there 15-18 April
I did fill in the Customer Comments form [and the Vanilla Diary] but I thought I'd contact you direct... just to say how much we enjoyed our stay. I refused to nominate any individual for a special mention as I felf it would be unfair as we did not know everyone's name with whom we came. Tim runs a fine "ship"... a great team, where nothing is too much bother and everyone delivers the service with a wonderful smile.
In my view you have created something very special, unique in our experience... the [very small] site is well designed to make the most of the available plot. With only 10' suites' it is a lovely place for a most relaxing holiday. Please, please retain your standards... one of the attractions is the 'No one under 12 years old' [don't get me worng we have children and love them to bits... But there is a time when to be without the inherent extra noise is wonderful]. And no TV too, although a 'night at the cinema' makes a nice change.
I have given Aleenta's details to a very select few of my Bangkok based farang friends... and a couple back in the UK. We will come back to Aleenta too, and although we enjoyed No 3 Vanilla we'd have liked to stay in a Pool or Beach House suite... next time!!

We had a fantastic time and I was rather saddened to leave. We were at the Beach House (lower deck, room 6) and by far in our books the best room there.
I have to compliment you in the way the resort has been designed and decorated... and I absolutely love the colour schemes you have used for the rooms. (Julian very kindly took us on a tour of the various rooms for future reference). It's basic simplicity with finesse.
The no TV and no phone policy is brill and I hope you never change that - it was part of the reason why we picked Aleenta.
The staff were delightful and Lawrence and Julian were very attentive. Chef was a charm in the kitchen |
