Join us in the dining room for Chef Jean Louis’s theme nights. Explore your culinary desires and wine cravings on Italian Night or food for sharing on Tapas Night. Dip your feet in the sand at one of our Beach BBQ’s or have a candle lit champagne dinner under the stars on the terrace with the moon as your backdrop and the waves as the musical accompaniment. Whatever your culinary desires entail we will be happy to accompany you on your journey.

Experience ‘Simply Thai’; an all Thai dinner affair on the shimmering sands of Thailand’s coast. Enjoy a set menu served with genuine Thai hospitality. Or how about the ‘Sand Haven’ experience by feasting on our Seafood BBQ dinner under the stars with your feet in the sand, whilst being pampered on your “sand-made” chair! Not for you? Well then how about the ‘Thai Confusion’ - Experience an authentic Thai dinner, family style in a true reflection of the local setting on the beach….an all Thai affair served with genuine hospitality and elegance. Thai Cooking Classes

Thai Cooking can be readily envisioned as a work of art. Thai people have a natural and creative sense of beauty and express it in many ways. Both men and women learn to create beautifully shaped fruits and vegetables, carving them with all the skills of a talented artisan.

Much of the appeal of Thai Cuisine owes a great deal to the spices, herbs and seasonings grown under the brilliant skies of Thailand. Some visitors have heard, erroneously, that all Thai food is hot or extremely hot! Although some Thai dishes are quite spicy, far more dishes are completely mild, and require no adjustment whatsoever. Its evocative flavors of lemon grass, sweet basil, and coconut milk, Thai food, is the result of subtle blending of herbs and spices and the incorporation of the crispy freshness of stir-fried vegetables, curries, and rich sauces.

Aleenta’s Thai Cooking Class is tailor-made for you and your partner – individual attention is assured. A typical day commences with a visit to the morning market! Your tour guide is our own Chef – he will take you through the market and explain the array of fresh vegetables and fruit while selecting your ingredients for the day. Then it is back to the resort and into one of the kitchens to begin your hands-on, Thai-inspired cooking class.  Enjoy a glass of wine, the chatter of our Chef, and the invigorating scents of your creation to be…

Each student will receive a recipe booklet and a certificate of completion signed by our Executive Chef.

Classes start at 8.30 a.m. with a visit to the market, cooking will commence at around 10 a.m. with lunch to follow. You can also indicate different timings if you prefer.
