Clean Living Holidays is an 11-night wellness journey across Bangkok, Phang Nga, Chiang Mai and Pranburi, created by AYURAH Wellness and Aleenta Resorts. At its heart is AYURAH’s Middle Path: wellbeing should feel restorative, enjoyable and sustainable — not restrictive — and the practices you discover in Thailand should fit naturally into life at home.
The journey explores four expressions of clean living: restorative sleep in Bangkok; personalised longevity and recovery by the Andaman Sea; mindfulness in the foothills of Doi Suthep; and farm-to-table wellbeing beside the Gulf of Thailand. You return home with four recipes, four practical habits and a personalised 14-Day Middle Path Plan.
What is Clean Living Holidays?
Clean Living Holidays is a 12-day, 11-night guided wellness journey connecting four properties in Thailand: akyra Bangkok 11, Aleenta Phuket–Phang Nga, Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai and Aleenta Hua Hin–Pranburi. Each of the three Aleenta resorts is a MICHELIN Key hotel, and Aleenta Phuket–Phang Nga and Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai are proud members of The Leading Hotels of the World.
The journey follows AYURAH’s Middle Path philosophy: balance, longevity and sustainable wellbeing rather than extremes. Across all four destinations, the Five Companions of Health — Rest, Detox, Move, Enrich and Guidance — bring structure to the experience and help turn new insights into a personalised, practical way of living.
Where does the journey go?
Bangkok — one night of urban recovery
The journey begins at akyra Bangkok 11 on Sukhumvit Soi 11, with a plant-forward dinner at E/R/N and the hotel’s Sleep Butler ritual: circadian lighting, a pillow menu and a 30-minute foot massage. From the first night, the focus is clear: restorative sleep is the foundation of clean living.
Phang Nga — four nights of strength and longevity
Aleenta Phuket–Phang Nga on Natai Beach is home to AYURAH’s most advanced, science-informed retreats, guided by AYURAH’s team of wellness experts and supported by a licensed wellness clinic on site. Before arrival, the team reviews each guest’s completed Pre-Arrival Health & Lifestyle Assessment. On arrival, an initial Wellness Consultation and core wellness diagnostics, including body-composition analysis, further refine the programme. Each day includes four personalised sessions selected from the experiences proposed within the chosen retreat. Depending on the guest’s needs, these may combine movement, mindfulness, massage, floatation or other therapeutic treatments. Within this journey, FX Mayr cuisine curated by Dr Anton and the AYURAH floatation experience are offered only here.
Chiang Mai — three nights to quiet the mind
At Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai, beneath Doi Suthep, the focus shifts from the body to the mind. Temple-based Vipassana practice, a dawn alms offering, guided walking meditation and a practitioner-led session on attention and digital overload help restore clarity and emotional balance.
Pranburi — three nights to return to nature
Aleenta Hua Hin–Pranburi is the final exhale: beachfront stillness, Hatha yoga and a day at the Aleenta Organic Farm, where you harvest vegetables and prepare lunch with the chef. The journey closes with the Middle Path Closing Table, a long Thai dinner by the sea where you complete your personal 14-Day Middle Path Plan.
What are the Five Companions of Health?
The Five Companions of Health are AYURAH’s framework for sustainable wellbeing: Rest, Detox, Move, Enrich and Guidance. Rest includes sleep rituals and meditation throughout the journey; the floatation experience is available only at AYURAH Wellness at Aleenta Phuket–Phang Nga. Detox combines nourishing food, lymphatic massage and magnesium foot baths to support the body’s natural processes. Move includes yoga and Muay Thai, adapted to each guest. Enrich brings therapies and treatments selected after consultation. Guidance connects assessment, clear explanations and the practical home plan you take with you.
What will I eat?
Clean Thai food is central to the journey and is expressed differently in each destination. FX Mayr-inspired cuisine is offered exclusively at AYURAH Wellness at Aleenta Phuket–Phang Nga, where the AYURAH Detox & Renewal menu is curated by Dr Anton around gently prepared dishes, mindful eating and proper pauses between meals to support digestion. One evening is reserved for SEASONS: The Middle Path Thai Wellness Menu, a separate, intimate and changing tasting experience of gut-friendly Thai cuisine.
Chiang Mai brings Northern Lanna flavours and a chef’s table built around local produce; Pranburi brings a farm-to-table day at the Aleenta Organic Farm. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, Halal and Jain dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice — briefed once and honoured across all four properties.
How do the flights work?
Daily domestic flights allow the journey to be arranged around each guest’s travel dates rather than a fixed start day. The suggested sequence is Bangkok, Phang Nga, Chiang Mai and Pranburi, but the order can be reversed or adjusted. Guests may also fly from Hua Hin to Chiang Mai or Phuket and depart from their final destination, avoiding a return drive to Bangkok. The AYURAH team confirms the most convenient sequence, flight times and transfers for each booking.
When should I go?
November to February offers the coolest, driest weather across the route, with Chiang Mai at its clearest. May and June are especially peaceful, with attractive seasonal rates, fewer visitors and more space and personal attention. July and August are slightly busier shoulder-season months. September and October may bring intense but short tropical showers; the rain freshens the air and landscape, is often followed by sunshine and usually brings the most attractive rates. For a wellness retreat, the rhythm of tropical rain can be especially restorative. As domestic flights operate daily, the journey can begin on any day and the sequence is tailored to the guest’s travel dates.
