6.6. We use the following providers to understand how our websites and booking system are used and to measure our advertising. Each one sets its own cookies or similar identifiers and receives the information described.

  • Google Analytics, provided by Google. Measures how our websites and booking system are used. Sets identifiers that tell one browser apart from another.
  • Google Ads, provided by Google. Measures which of our advertisements lead to bookings, and allows us to show advertisements to people who have visited us before.
  • Meta Pixel, provided by Meta. Measures which of our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram lead to bookings, and allows us to show advertisements to people who have visited us before.

6.6a. Where you agree to advertising cookies, we and the providers named above may use a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address to match a booking to an advertisement you saw. The scrambled form cannot be read back as your email address, although a provider that already holds the same address can recognise that the two match. If you refuse advertising cookies, none of this is shared.

6.7. When you sign in to our booking system we give your visit a reference number that does not contain your name, your email address or any other detail that identifies you to the providers named above. 6.8. Google Analytics has a feature called Google Signals. If you are signed in to a Google account and have allowed Google to personalise the advertising you see, Google Signals may connect your visits to our websites and booking system with that account. That connection lets us see how many people use more than one device before they book, and lets us show advertising to people who have already visited us. It happens only where you have agreed to analytics and advertising cookies. You can stop it at any time, either by withdrawing that agreement as described in section 6.10 or in the activity controls of your Google account.

6.9. Some of the providers named in section 6.6 are based in the United States, and information about your use of our websites and booking system is transferred there. Each provider states the safeguard it relies on for transfers out of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Meta states that it is certified under the same framework and keeps the standard contractual clauses as an alternative. Microsoft states that the standard contractual clauses are incorporated into its data protection terms. Where we transfer information out of Thailand we do so with your consent, having told you that the data protection standards of the destination country may differ from Thailand's.

6.10. Apart from the cookies needed to make our websites and booking system work, nothing in section 6.6 is set unless you agree to it.
