The Companion Yoga Retreat: Together When Your Wellness Goals Differ
Aleenta Phuket - Phang Nga
Back to articles
The Companion Yoga Retreat at AYURAH Wellness, Aleenta Phuket–Phang Nga, lets two people share a villa and the same daily rhythm while one of them follows another AYURAH programme. It is also a retreat in its own right for a solo guest who wants 3, 5, 7, 10 or 14 nights built around yoga.
Yoga twice a day, breathwork, mindfulness, a treatment every day and a Temple Blessing Excursion make up the programme. Your retreat host keeps your hours in step with your partner’s.

Who the retreat suits
The retreat is made for couples, close friends and family members who want to share their time at Aleenta while following different wellness goals. One of you takes, say, The Deep Reset Retreat; the other takes Companion Yoga, and the host schedules both so you eat together and finish the day together.
It also suits a solo guest who wants unhurried time for personal practice, with a yoga guide who sets the practice to their level and adjusts it through the stay.
Enrich leads. Rest, Detox, Move and Guidance stay present through the food, the treatments, the movement and the personal support.
How the programme is personalised
A short questionnaire before you arrive and a conversation with our Wellness Director about gut health and yoga shape your practice. Your schedule is sent to you before you travel.
On arrival, the conversation and an orientation with your retreat host and yoga guide set the practice to your level. The Light Detox menu is explained to you in relation to your yoga: what to eat, and when, for easy digestion and concentrated nourishment. That explanation is what sets this apart from an ordinary yoga holiday. Body composition readings and the Metabolic Breath Analysis are not part of this retreat.
A typical day
A sample day begins with activating beach yoga at 08.30 and breakfast at 09.30. Guided mindfulness and meditation follow at 11.00, lunch at 12.30 and a grounding yoga session at 15.00. A Senses of AYURAH Massage is at 17.00, dinner at 19.00 and the Sleep Turndown Ritual at 21.00.
Yoga styles may include Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin or Nidra. The mix is set to your experience and what you want from the practice.

Two ways to book
On its own. You book the villa for your dates and add the retreat programme per person, per night. This is the same structure as every AYURAH signature retreat.
Sharing a villa with a guest on another retreat. The villa is already in your partner’s booking, so you pay for the retreat programme only. Your host matches your hours to your partner’s programme.
Sharing the villa without a programme. A companion can also join on full board without a retreat. Our team arranges both ways of sharing a villa for you.
