The Detox & Renewal Retreat: Clearing What Has Accumulated

The Detox & Renewal Retreat at AYURAH Wellness, Aleenta Phuket–Phang Nga, runs for 5, 7 or 10 nights. It is for guests who feel heavy, overloaded or tired and want a structured period of lighter food, gentle movement, breathing, daily treatments and rest.

You eat three full meals a day from the Light Detox menu. Fasting is introduced only where your Wellness Director considers it right for you, and the days are set so your body does the clearing at its own pace.

Who the retreat suits

The retreat suits guests whose days have held too much and left too little time to digest, recover and reset. Your first conversation with the Wellness Director is about chronic overload and how your body clears it.

Detox leads. Rest, Move, Enrich and Guidance support the cleansing work with recovery, movement, treatments and the Wellness Director’s oversight. This is the AYURAH Middle Path, Aleenta’s philosophy of life lived in balance: work and rest, movement and recovery, nourishment and enjoyment, your own goals and your connection with others.

A typical day

A sample day begins with activating beach yoga at 08.30. Breakfast is at 09.30, followed by a breathing practice at 11.00. Lunch is at 12.30, Tai Chi at 15.00 and a Skin Detox Massage at 17.00. Dinner follows at 19.00, before the Sleep Turndown Ritual at 21.00.

Your own schedule is written from a short questionnaire you complete before you arrive, and it is sent to you before you travel. On your first day you sit down with our Wellness Director, a medical doctor with extensive clinical experience specialising in integrative health. From there your retreat host adjusts the days as you go, and a day may hold fewer than four sessions where more recovery serves you better.

• body composition readings and a Metabolic Breath Analysis, so your programme follows how your body responds;
• a dedicated retreat host;

• gentle daily movement such as yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, basic fitness or beach walks, for metabolic activation;
• breathing and mindfulness sessions, with the lungs as the body’s central clearing organ;
• one personal massage or treatment each day, such as the Skin Detox, Lymphatic, Deep Tissue or Invigorating Massage;
• the Sleep Turndown Ritual and a departure wellness pack.

How the detox works

Food, breathing, movement, bodywork and rest do the work together. The Light Detox menu is full board, adjusted to your programme. Movement is gentle and daily. Treatments are scheduled every afternoon, and recovery is planned into every day.

Floatation, sound healing and ice baths are spaced through the stay, and from seven nights a magnesium foot bath joins them.

What changes over five, seven and ten nights

Five nights includes two body composition readings, one Metabolic Breath Analysis and five daily treatments. It also includes two floatation sessions, one Sound Healing Experience and one ice bath.

Seven nights adds a second Metabolic Breath Analysis, seven daily treatments, a second ice bath and a magnesium foot bath. It keeps two floatation sessions and one Sound Healing Experience.

Ten nights includes three body composition readings, two Metabolic Breath Analyses, ten daily treatments, three floatation sessions, two Sound Healing Experiences, three ice baths and one magnesium foot bath.

Should you wish: optional tests

A Micronutrient Profile with Wellness Consultation is THB 30,131 including tax and service charge. It shows which vitamins and minerals your body is short of, so your cuisine and treatments replace what is missing through your detox. Tell us if you would like it and we will add it.

The setting near Phuket

Aleenta Phuket–Phang Nga is on Natai Beach, 25 minutes north of Phuket International Airport. The resort is a MICHELIN Key hotel and a proud member of The Leading Hotels of the World.

You stay in a private pool villa and move between the AYURAH Wellness Centre, the beach, the treatment rooms and the dining table without leaving the resort. The days are quiet, and nothing needs a car.
