Gluten Free Dining at The EDGE

Gluten Free Dining - The EDGE Restaurant - Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa

Dining well while avoiding gluten should never feel restrictive. At The Edge, our beachfront restaurant at Aleenta Phuket Phang Nga Resort and Spa, gluten-free dishes form a significant part of the menu across breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

With clear allergen labelling and a kitchen team experienced in accommodating dietary requirements, guests can enjoy relaxed dining by the Andaman Sea with complete confidence.

Gluten Free at The Edge

A wide selection of dishes across our menus are naturally gluten free or can be adapted on request. Around 40 per cent of our offerings cater to gluten-free preferences, from light starters to balanced mains and wholesome desserts.

Our menus are clearly marked with gluten free icons for convenience and safety. The team is always available to guide guests through suitable options and make adjustments where needed.

Gluten-free bread, pizza bases and pasta are available on request, ensuring that no one misses out on their favourite dishes. We also provide gluten-free options for children, making family dining straightforward and enjoyable.

Naturally Gluten Free Choices

Many of our most popular dishes are either naturally gluten free or easily adapted.

From the vegetarian and wellness selections, guests can enjoy options such as steamed edamame, fresh gazpacho, cauliflower buffalo wings, and vibrant salads. Balanced mains such as Teriyaki Tofu with organic riceberry and Jungle Curry with mixed vegetables and tofu offer satisfying choices without compromise.

At lunch, wok-prepared dishes, such as Pad Thai Goong, can be adapted for gluten-free dining, and several healthy bowls focus on quinoa, legumes, and organic produce.

Gluten-free pizza is available upon request, allowing guests to enjoy classics such as Margherita or seafood variations with a suitable base.

For something sweet and lighter, desserts like fresh seasonal fruits and Glow Bowl selections provide naturally gluten-free finishes to your meal.

Gluten

Gluten is a protein found in grains such as wheat, rye and barley. It gives bread and pasta their structure and texture. For many people, gluten is digested without issue.

For others, including those with coeliac disease, wheat allergy or non-coeliac gluten sensitivity, consuming gluten can lead to digestive discomfort and other health concerns. Symptoms may range from bloating and fatigue to more serious nutritional complications when gluten is not tolerated.

For guests managing these conditions, careful ingredient selection and preparation are important. Our team is trained to minimise cross-contamination and to respond thoughtfully to individual dietary needs.

A Balanced Approach To Gluten Free Living

Choosing gluten-free dishes often encourages a greater focus on whole foods such as vegetables, fruits, lean proteins and unprocessed ingredients. Many of these are already central to The Edge menu.

Dishes built around fresh seafood, organic vegetables, legumes, riceberry and quinoa offer flavour and nourishment without reliance on refined carbohydrates. Guests may also find that reducing heavily processed foods helps support steady energy levels and overall well-being.

That said, a gluten-free diet is not necessary for everyone. For those without intolerance or medical advice, gluten can form part of a balanced diet. The key is informed choice.

Dining At The Edge

At The Edge, gluten-free dining is not an afterthought. It is integrated into our menus, supported by clear allergen labelling and backed by a knowledgeable culinary team.

Whether you are enjoying a leisurely breakfast, a light beachside lunch or dinner with sunset views over Natai Beach, you can expect thoughtful preparation and genuine care.

If you have specific dietary requirements, please speak with our service team in advance or upon arrival. We are pleased to accommodate individual needs so that every guest can dine comfortably and well.
