Integrative health at Aleenta Phuket–Phang Nga is one personalised, doctor-guided programme rather than a menu of disconnected treatments. AYURAH Wellness the resort's integrated wellness concept, is built on the Middle Path philosophy: lasting wellbeing comes from living in balance, not from extreme protocols or quick fixes.
Every element below — movement, spa therapy, cuisine, diagnostics — is drawn together through AYURAH's own method, the Five Companions of Health: Rest, Detox, Move, Enrich and Guidance. Here is what each one offers, and how they combine into a single retreat shaped around you.
Guidance: where every programme begins
Guidance is the companion that carries the medical thread. The AYURAH approach is led by a Wellness Director with more than 20 years of clinical, preventive and longevity experience, and every retreat opens with a pre-arrival health and lifestyle assessment, a personalised wellness consultation and a body composition analysis.
Guests who want deeper insight can add wellness diagnostics: advanced blood panels, a comprehensive hormone panel, micronutrient analysis, metabolic breath analysis and biological age testing. Supportive therapies such as hyperbaric oxygen and targeted intravenous therapies are available where appropriate. The purpose is a clear starting point — where you are now, and what to focus on next.
Move: from Muay Thai to Yoga Nidra
The weekly movement timetable runs four sessions a day, from an 8:15 am sunrise practice on the beach to a final session at 5 pm. It spans Muay Thai in the resort's own ring, Pilates, Tai Chi, core and strength workouts in the Fitness Centre, and yoga styles from Hatha and Vinyasa through Yin and Yoga Nidra.
Guided pranayama breathwork, sound healing and meditation sessions sit alongside the physical training. In-house guests join one scheduled class complimentary per stay, and private one-to-one sessions can be arranged at a time that suits you.
Rest: recovery treated as seriously as training
AYURAH treats recovery as a discipline in its own right. The spa's Rest treatments include the Senses of AYURAH, Thai Herbal Compress Massage, Chi Nei Tsang abdominal work and a floatation experience. Retreat days close with an evening sleep turndown ritual.
Therapeutic bodywork is built into every retreat day — one private massage or treatment daily, selected to support what the rest of your programme is asking of your body.
Detox: gentle, not extreme
Cleansing at AYURAH supports the body's own pathways of elimination rather than forcing them. Lymphatic massage, deep tissue work, Vichy shower treatments and organ-focused massage sequences pair with breathwork and restorative movement.
On the nutrition side, guests choose between the full wellness cuisine and a gentle intermittent fasting programme — there are no harsh fasts or extreme detox methods on the menu.
Enrich: cuisine and culture
The wellness kitchen is FX Mayr-inspired, focused on gut health: plant-forward, locally sourced and lightly seasoned, with vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and Jain vegetarian options accommodated. A wellness cooking class shows you how to carry the approach home.
Enrichment also reaches beyond the table — traditional Thai massage, sound bath sessions, and a temple blessing ritual with guided meditation on the yoga-focused retreats.
