Make Your Own Crab Fried Rice at Home - Aleenta Restaurant - Aleenta Hua Hin Resort & Spa

Crab Fried Rice is a classic and much beloved Thai dish, characterised by its delicate flavors. The crab is really the star of the show here, so a light touch is used when it comes to seasoning. The spring onion and lime combo adds the perfect fresh flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 100g Steamed Crab Meat
  • 100g Steamed Crab Claw Meat
  • 2 Eggs
  • 250g Fragrant Rice, Cooked
  • 150g Spring Onion
  • 1 tbs. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tbs. Minced Garlic
  • Cucumber
  • Lime

Seasoning:

  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 3 tbs. Soya Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Grounded White Pepper

Method:

  1. Heat the cooking oil and add in garlic and cook stir-fry until light brown
  2. Add the eggs and stir well
  3. Add the cooked rice and stir fry the rice until it’s thoroughly combined with the garlic and egg mixture
  4. Stir-in the crab meat, seasoning and chopped spring onion
  5. Dish out and garnish with spring onion, cucumber and lime
